I would like everyone's opinion on this Article as a Family member showed it to me trying to prove a point,

So wait, the test was conducted on people with low exposure to violent video games prior to the test? How did they discount that the changes weren't due to exposure to a new media?

Dude, I've played Doom at 6. I've played SiN at 8. I've played Soldier Of Fortune at 10. So far I haven't been that violent, and haven't been out killing people. Of course, there has been references to punching. But the though of killing someone never crossed my mind and won't happen even now.
Ooh, ooh, is this where I point out that all activities alter brain function in some way?
I think it is.
Unless that person you're talking to is a strict vegan that's never set foot in a fast food joint or so much as looked at a soda, they're being a tad hypocritical here.
that study means nothing. they had such a short experiment period, didn't control anything else but video game playing (meaning the lifestyles of the males before the study weren't taken into consideration), there wasn't anything said on the division of the groups, on whether it was all younger/older people in one group.
It's such a poorly designed study that there's no way they can make any conclusions on whether violent video games actually made a difference. Until they have a better study, I'm saying video games have no bearing on brain function.
Only thing I can think of thats how the brain reacts if you were in a actual Gun Fight,
im sure those idiots wasting money on useless Studies like this prolly didnt think of that
