Default I'm getting low FPS using the PCSX2 0.9.9 emulator

While trying to play Rogue Galaxy I can't get past around 30 FPS (with maxed speedhacks), so I was wondering: Is my computer not good enough to push the FPS, or is there still hope by means of configuration?

    Here's my specs:

    Graphics card: GeForce 8600 GT

    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6850 @ 3.00GHZ.

    RAM: 4,00 GB

Yeah, the graphics card ain't exactly powerful for the emulation. It's a low range card, not even overclocking it would actually give good results. Sorry.

Ah, I should have guessed. Thanks for the answer, though!

Check whether Native is enabled on the GSdx, and use different Preset value as well.

Also, this game is very demanding anyway, major fps drops tends to happen frequently as you progress through the game.

Have you tried 0.9.8? I've finished Rogue Galaxy on it.

    My PC:
    E8400 @3.00Ghz
    Radeon 4870

With EE cycle set to 2 (rest settings was default) it was running very good (for this CPU) most slowdowns (drop to 40 - 45 fps) occured in cut scenes and certain areas in cities, battles were always 55-60 frames. Only problem for me were black square 'shadows' on weapons.

Your graphic isn't a beast but it should be enough... Or not?
