Default odds of older animes getting a blu ray release?

i can't seem to find much info but there are a few older animes such as Ranma 1/2 and Gokudo that i would like to see remastered and Bluray rereleased, have any of the older anime (around late 80's -90's ) been or are being remastered and blu ray? excluding dragonball obviously

the Gokudo dvd set is nearly impossible to get and so are the Ranma ones (season 1 is selling for $100+) i have season 1 and the menu and set up is HORRID, the menu is so bad that it looks like it was made home made, and the subtitles for background text is EMBEDED in the footage

havent had the privilage of getting my hands on Gokudo as much as i want it

There was a Blue-ray release of the Saint seiya films...as for others I really havent seen much news. I grew up watching Ranma 1/2 but 100 bucks is a bit too much XD

Well, there was the Blu-ray box set of Kara no Kyoukai.
    That's 800-1000 bucks now.
But it is very good anime.

it would be nice if more did but sadly they probley won't i mean if people think the 100 price tag is high a blu ray set will probable be even higher and so it will be least likly to sell maybe if you got like an online potion going and sent it to a comp. like funimation they could see the projected sales clearer. they really are fan driven there talked with some emploies at a con once so that would be your best bet to see a blu ray set of any old anime

well if it were released and remastered on blu ray i could possibly validate the $100 price tag

true if i remeber correctly both still have a pretty strong following but they would have to break them down to smaller box sets like season one part one like they did with thunder cats and he-man but if it was to keep fairly cheap i would have to agree and say the 100 price tag would be worth it

Clannad season 1 blu ray is $800+

also ranma season 1 is already only 18 eps, doubt they would break it up, id rather pay $200-300 for all 7 seasons, 3 movies and 12 OVA

oh i didn't know it was that small but i have to agree with Shardnax 800 is way to much to pay for any anime unless it would triple its investment ever hour and give me unlimited internet for free.

    Let's break it down.

    $50 for the art book.
    $30 for packaging.
    $90 per disc.

    Still horribly overpriced, dude. :/
