Bearing in mind that you need DVD+R DL, not DVD+Rs... And your 360's DVD drive needs to be flashed with LT 2.0 to play games from burned discs.

Unrar the image (assuming you haven't already)
Right click on the .dvd -> Burn using ImgBurn
Change the write speed to 4x, disable verify.
    Press go.

I already covered that in my first post.

As has been stated by the mighty INFERNO.

YOU NEED DL DISCS (dual layer)

Using normal DVDs will not cut it

No doubt you're trying to burn an XGD3 game, even though you've never actually said if your 360's modded or not...
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-..._5_6_0-912244/

XGD3 - If you have done everything I've mentioned above, insert your blank disc, double-click the .dvd file which will launch ImgBurn, then press the burn button. As XGD3 ISOs are too large to fit on a dual-layer disc, an extra window will open. Choose the option to "Write to end of disc (Truncate)" and hit OK. Wait for the disc to burn and verify. Job done.

As only around 97% of an XGD3 ISO will fit on the disc if you're not using a Burner Max burner, this is not the optimal method for burning XGD3 games. Certain games (Forza 4, for example) feature new checks that will fail if you burn the game using this method, so it's recommended to get a Burner Max-compatible drive and burn using the instructions in steps 5 and 6.
EDIT: Looked it up, NBA 2K12 is indeed an XGD3 game.

Its not a bother man, asking questions is how you learn.

But only ask if you cannot find answers in the faqs or guides x

Well... where to begin. You need ur xbox flashed with the latest Iextreme 2.0 or 2.1 if you have a samsung drive. First of all download imgburn 2.6 I believe is the latest. Get into a site such as xbox360iso.com or your360stop or some other place to find games. You will need an account from mega upload or filesonic or wherever for decent downloads. Use Jdownloader to download games. If you can't figure that part out then stop now. After you get a game, normally you will have a .iso file and a .dvd file. You will want to burn the smaller .dvd file with imgburn. It will link automatically to the .iso. If it is a newer game (XGD3) and you dont have a lite-on IHAS burner (google it), then it will give you options. Choose truncate and burn as normal. Stay offline!!!! If you have been on xboxlive for any reason in the last day, forget about it because as of yesterday they have officially sent out a stealth update that will render most if not all of your burnt games useless. Oh, also, I use Memorex dual layer 2.4's from singapore. I hear you can use others but I have never ruined a single one in 3 years now. Also, if it is a newer game, make sure in imgburn options you have the layer break set to optimal. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. If you need any help just p.m. me.
I'm listening but I don't hear very much...
