I'll usually play games on "Hard" from the get go, I'll leave the Insane/Impossible difficulties for a second play-through usually.

I've heard from a few people Jaspers are the best boards for RGHing.

Most games aren't even hard anyway, unless the highest difficulty is locked, you might as well just start on that.

Why would they be the best though? The speed with which they boot?

They're the most reliable motherboard and their timing is best for the glitch hack.

Yeah, the Phats still boot faster than the Slims with the RGH. Although someone recently found a way to optimize the glitching times for the Slims and gotten it down to ~10sec. All it took was a specific length of wiring at one of the points. Not too bad really.

If my brother DOEs get me a 360 though, I'm taking Lost Odyssey from him and Guilty Gear 2 back.

I'll be fine with just using an old school JTAG 'till it dies.

Since I've owned my slim since new and have hardly used it at all - and with owning a JTAG soon it should last a good few years. Plus, there's no reason for it to get banned from Live either. So I'll have a good Live box.

Oh yeah, of course. As an end-user I can't blame you with not getting into the subtle nuances of wiring up an RGH 360.

I just want experience on how to wire up the RGH on a Slim. Then I can advertise for modding, maybe make some money on the side.

But yeah, I'm much more of a gamer than a modder. I can't be bothered with most mods unless they're quick and easy. And software, not hardware related.

Don't worry. Just act like you know what you're doing. No one will notice if you don't act all scared and stuff

Also, sending Windows Phone software site link.

Soft-mods are cool and all. It's just hard-mods are so much more rewarding when you complete them successfully. Especially something like a JTAG/RGH.

I tried to check it out but my connection's being a turd. I'll have a look tomorrow. Thanks.
