I'm bore so I decided it would be fun to have a little game.
The name of the game is Dictionary the rules are simple.
1st I'll start by giving a word from my dictionary(these will be real words and in english )
the objective is to write the definition of the word. One answer per post no double posting.
Lets keep it civil(or try to ) and above all have fun.

To start off the first word will be "cognizance"

my dictionary only has common words.
and as to the answer

triskaidekaphobia is fear of the number 13; it is a superstition and related to a specific fear of Friday the 13th

I never stated that'd be cheating besides I'm sitting here with a dictionary

Ok I fail to see the point, it's not a game then. Why not rename the thread to ok everybody let's type out the dictionary. Sorry it just doesn't make sense to me


Or do it in reverse, give the definition and then people guess the word???

the definition in my dictionary says "the highest or top most point, top of the triangle, opposite the base: the point at which two lines meet to form an angle.

I wasn't really condoning cheating but it's hard to do such a game online and expect people not to look the words up. Thats not really a bad idea.
