Default ESR Tombraider Underworld Slowmo and Refusal to Load

Hey there guys, So ive recently downloaded tombraider underworld and patched it with ESR and burnt it, but for some reason when i try to play it, it runs is ultra slow motion mode.

I cannot actually start the game after the flash back of Lara and her mother?

It just stays a blank screen, tested on 2 different ps2's (the 1st's laser was pretty much dead) is this a known issue? Im using verbatim dvd+R media burnt at x4 speed using a spcph-70001 model with esr 9b FMCB 1.8 the file is a NTSC-U

hmmm ill have to see, although to be honest im not sure how good the original game was on the ps2, since it was mainly for the new gen of consoles (360 and such) ive already played and completed it on the 360 but my dad, who is also a tomb raider fan, hasn't yet so i thought since i had a modded ps2 to let him play it and no such luck... i guess ill just try with another disc cheers jake
