Default To Fifa or not to Fifa?

This is my question and my dilemma. I'm a huge fan of Fifa and its gameplay, only one major thing stopped me from enjoying Fifa 11.
That was the AI. Not that it was too difficult, I enjoy fifa's difficulty settings, they feel great and really noticeable when you shift from one to another, but what my teammates did constantly throughout game after game bugged me. In particular the way they would get the ball, then do a useless spin move in open space and then run full speed directly at an opposing player. What I wonder is if anyone around EPF has or has played Fifa 12, and if so, does it play better than Fifa 11? I'd love to get it if it does, but right now I don't have the money for another game that I can't play.

People are implying that it does, but yeah, haven't played it yet myself.

Since 1993, EA have the released the same game, year in, year out, with slight modifications and graphical updates, and called it completely new. The games are fun, but far too many have been released IMO.

Thanks for all the input guys. Turns out I may not have to buy it at all. My brother got a GameFly account, so I can test it out from there. Here's hoping its atleast a step up from 11!
