Dualshock 3 on ePSXe
Hi there, newbie here.
So I have my Dualshock 3 controller configured on my laptop, and ePSXe seems to recognize it (I was able to set up the controls using the controller). But for some reason, when I start up any game, the controller doesn't work. Anyone?
I'm using Windows 7 32-bit, ePSXe v1.7.0, and MotioninJoy.

What game? Try hitting F5 to swap control modes, as it's possible you're trying to use an analog mode on a game that did not support it (the same thing happens when using an analog controller on a real PSX if the game doesn't support it, no keys will register until you turn the analog off).Originally Posted by tdevost

ummm so that means it's working now? Or are you just stating that those games are analog? sorry just a tad befuddled there.

I believe he is stating the latter.
What controller mode do you have it set to in the gamepad plugin configuration?
I have it working now somehow, although not completely. I'm trying to get analog to work now.

Have you tried hitting F5? You should get a little cycle at the top right corner of the ePSXe screen that toggles between "Analog Off" (red) and "Analog On" (green). That always solved my analog problems.
Also, I find with MotionInJoy, I have to periodically reset the control inputs on whatever emulator I'm using. Not sure if this is just a problem that I have or if it's a common thing, but might be worth a look as well, if the F5 step doesn't seem to be doing anything for you.

Turns out it was MotioninJoy. New issue, analog sensitivity doesn't seem to be working. It's working like the directional pad.
