I'm gonna do it one day, though.

Maybe sometime in December of 2012...

well i plan to play it cuz this game seem to look good .. well consider the fact that the reason i say it look good is due to the graphic is pretty good where some of the wii games usually have suckish graphic..

So... If I liked all previous Xeno games + FFXII, do you think I'll like this...? (Obviously excited about it before all this came up...)

This isn't technically one of the Xeno-series. It has no association to Xenogears or Xenosaga.

Yeah, I think you might. I mean, Elin is like the greatest Xeno + FFXII fangirl ever and she liked XB a lot. But as it's been mentioned above, it has no relation whatsoever to the previous games.

It's also different from previous Xeno games in a sense that it's more like an actual game and less like a series of cutscenes. There's lots of exploration (with tons and tons of scenery porn) and free roaming/dungeon crawling with occasional story cutscenes between them, so in that regard the rhythm of the game is reminiscent of FFXII. The battle system plays a bit like FFXII, but it's actually rather different. And there's no Gambit system, which sucks. The cutscenes themselves are pretty badass, and much like in the case of Xenogears, what starts out as a rather simple revenge story develops into something more complex by the end. It's... uh, probably not Xenogears kind of complex (which I was actually thankful for), but I thought it was a really nice story nonetheless.

I could go on, but I have a feeling you wanted a short answer.

(Overall, I think I prefer FFXII. But that's just my Matsuno fanboyism showing.)

Go right ahead! Matsuno fans stick together, right...?

I think I'll like it -- no use asking about it, I mean: I actually enjoyed PSO enough to go back and replay multiple times, and THAT wasn't the best "RPG" ever...

    Damn right! *hi-five*

If you have any specific questions about the game, you're more than welcome to ask, btw.
