Well, since ive started system (windows) updates yesterday afternoon, im still going through new ones, but i think im getting to the bottom of all of them.
However, Red faction does now play faster, enough to be acceptable to play, and have been able to get GT4 menus to load fast, but the game itself is still TOOOO slow. I understand that my Vid. card only supports Dx10, but it seems my OS only supports DX3d 9, so im hoping after updates it will support 10, and give better results on GT4. i am gonna try GT3 (i need to check that playability site for GT3)
heres the logs for both RF and GT4 (dont know if you need both so ill post em)
its seeming hopeless to speed much of anything up with more complicated games, so am soon to give up untill i can upgrade my video card.
also with this new system, i have been able to play cut scenes
i quit RF out at main menu
and shutdown GT4 at the B license test course selection (where is slows way down)

GT4 is too much for your current CPU to handle, it require more than what you have now.

Also, since you're using Dual Core, try running both games on latest the SVN with MTVU hack enabled,
and hope there will be some boosts on speed, but if its not, disable it, and set the Speedhacks to maximum.

    http://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/

Download the latest SVN from here, then enable MTVU hack at the Speedhacks config.

Ok, this is helping RF a little bit, ill keep you updated on GT4, but IDT GT4 is gonna work without the new Vid Card

ok, this has dramatically sped up GT4, enough to be playable, thank you. it like x2 slow, but acceptable, if there anything else, maybe EMU plugin settings? i noticed there were many more options in this version of PCSX2, so i left them default, i guess i could mess with these to see if i get better results

Always and always make sure that Native resolution and Hardware mode was selected on the GSdx settings, just leave the rest to default.
While the Speedhacks setting set to maximum, or try using different Preset option, as well enabling Turbo mode (TAB button).

If nothing changes, then nothing you can do with it, since GT4, like I said before need a strong machine to run at stable fps.
