    Post to all you brits out there (or some1 with a bit of know how)

    if i put a us psx game into my cd drive and tried to play it on a emulator would it work? (not the game, the actual cd) does the pal/ntsc difference here?

    If you put a PAL/NTSC/SECAM or whatever CD into your PC it will recognise it fine. So if the emulator supports it then it will play fine.

    PAL/NTSC etc are Television standards that are not really applicable to monitors.

    Remember you will need the correct BIOS for your emulator though, as US and UK work on different ones (if I am wrong on that please do correct me, don't think I am though).

    I'm not sure the bios are different really. Just as long as you have an emulator it'll work I believe...

    Well, i know that Bleem! did it that way, i think the ePSXE can do it too, I just haven't got it to work.

    It doesn't really matter what BIOS you have, I've used an American BIOS before and English games worked fine on it. It just gives you a different BIOS menu really.
