I really really like the ProBooks, the casing and what not is really nice. However, I'd like the best I can get for my money. My top budget is $500, although I'd like to keep it under if possible. I'll be using it for college, and /maybe/ some gaming in between classes. Therefore, battery life and weight are issues. Thanks

(I'm also open to any other ideas if you know of a laptop that would work better for me )

    HP ProBook 4530s (XU015UT#ABA) Notebook Intel Core i3 2310M(2.10GHz) 15.6" 4GB Memory DDR3 1333 320GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi Intel HD Graphics 3000

I'd go for this personally, although I've no idea which of the three laptops has the better GPU as I don't care about that.

The GPU's get incrementally better by price, although the 6520 is much better than the rest of them. However, it's not a probook.

It's HP's business line, it's got aluminum casing and it's lighter than most laptops

I would go with the Gateway NV55S04u, personally. It only weighs half a pound more than the HP ProBook 4525, and while it is the slightly more expensive of the three, it's a quad-core. A low-end quad-core, sure, but still better than a mid-grade dual-core (ProBook 4525) or what appears to be a single-core i3 (ProBook 4530).

If I had to narrow it down to any particular one, I would choose that one. If you're not quite as worried about being able to play games and whatnot on it and are pretty much only going to be using it for college and day-to-day Internet stuffs, then save yourself a few bucks and grab the Probook 4525.

I missed that one is a quad core. I'll go quad core as well then.

Yup. I really like the aluminum... and the keyboard looks nicer, but I suppose I'll probably end up with the Gateway
