I'm getting a really strange problem here.

Hi. The long story made short is that I have SSF and a US BIOS. I downloaded the 4 discs of Panzer Dragoon Saga from this website, all of them (U). I played through the first disc with absolutely no problems and had a ton of fun. When it came time to put in the second disc though, I got "disc unsuitable for this system". I hadn't changed anything, and looking at the .cue showed that everything was fine. I had mounted it with daemon tools in the same drive as before, and after disc 2 didn't work, I tried disc 1 again and it worked fine. Disc 3 game me the same error. Disc 4 worked as flawlessly as disc one. The only thing I can find in regards to this are people saying it's the wrong region, but the region is the same between all four of them. Does anyone have any idea what this is?

Might not be important but for me to test correctly... What version of SSF are you using

Bios used realy is not important

Off hand I would of also mentioned the region settings within SSF aswell, this is indeed odd that 2 discs from a set of 4 are not recogised in the same region settings as the other 2 discs, unless for some strange reason that the discs had region patches done on them but 2 had not

Or rather, the entire set from there. I downloaded both the direct links and mega-upload mirrors just to be sure but they both do the same thing. I'm using SSF 0.12 if that helps. It seems someone else has the same problem (or did a month ago) judging by the discussion at the bottom of the page.

Sorry went out before you replied downloading Well disc one for now will also get disc two to start with and do a few tests on my end

Will only be testing the direct links though

If you did need to change settings for CD1 to start with.. ssf remembers the setup for that disc, this will need to be done for all discs as ssf remembers the settings by the games code. i.e. it reads the code from the disc and changes the settings acordingly

But let me test it out first on my end

Could you open your ssf.ini in notepad and copy and paste the [Peripheral] section please.. doing some tests now but waiting for CD2

Also what files do you have in the settings/saturn folder?

EDIT: ERROR SOLVED

Error found on CD 2 it is only 1 sector and can be repaired using CD-Mage

Read this on how to use CD-Mage. Just use the 1st repair option
