Grandia 2 is really good, just make sure you don't get a buggy copy of it.

I rented Summoner a long time ago when PS2 was new. My god, what a horrible game. The same for Maximo, ugh. Horrible, horrible games.

I'm gonna speak about the games I own from your list:
-Summoner it's not s great rpg at all...
-Ico is a really beautiful adventure... a bit shot, but worth to try

I'd go to buy this games(in this order)if I were in your case:
-Kingdom Hearts, to reencounter with old friends like Cloud, Squall...I'm sure it will be a can't miss
-Capcom vs. SNK, the best 2d fighting game till Mvs.C2
-Maximo, to remind the good old times playing ghost & goblins

Anyway you have to consider another possibilities like DMC, GT3, SH2... but I dunno if you've get it or not...

Anyone know of any hidden secrets or anything about Vertua Fighter 4? When I had Vertua Fighter 2 for Sega Saturn you where able to get an options plus. Is there a way to change ring size and stuff like there was with that one? And how longe does it take to get to be able to fight Dural in Kumita mode? I read you have to beat her in that mode to be able to use her in multiplayer? But i've fought almost over 100 matches in it and no Dural.

Vinni, Grandia 2 is a great game, I don't know why you dislike it.

of that list I have cap vs.snk 2 and ico.
cap vs. snk 2 is great but the graphics aren't really on par with kof2k1 or streetfighter alpha 3 in my opinion. teh backgrounds are 3d and it looks kinda funny to me. but the gameplay is spot on. ico is a wierd game that looks great. but it never really cought me.

in vf4 you have to be the highest ranked (I don't remember the name) then dural will come. or so they say. I never made it that far. to me vf4 is lacking in secrets. besides all the clothes and stuff in kumite there really isn't anything else.

the reason why I think u should steer clear of grandia 2 is;

linear plot - ohhh Gawwwwd , u fight a villan causing discomfort in EVERY village, u'll be guessing the next villan in no time. All of which are some part of valmar. So linear it makes u wanna slap the TV an evrything in it then slap urself for wasting ur time with it.

Though it has a good battle mod, believe me if u have any sense of strategy u ll learn the pattern quickly and beat everybody.

Third , LINEAR PLOT. Shit , the developpers think ur REALLY stupid.

Graphics great, so is Sound and music .
I finished it in 54 hrs. I hated 40 of it, just played it cuz i kept expecting it to get better.
