Default Counting Sheep: The Vincent Brooks Story (Or: Ray LPs Catherine)*

You heard right. I actually followed through on my plan to LP this at some point. I'll be uploading videos to the YT account as I play/record. As for when they come here, I haven't really decided whether to post them as they upload or to slowly roll them out in an effort to make it slower and easier to follow. Whichever is preferred would be nice. As for the video length, I'm currently intending to go roughly an hour per video. That may or may not change depending on shit. Anywho-

Q: The fuck is this shit?

A: It's a puzzle game with a heavy plot. It's what happens when a truckload of dating sims hits a shipment of Q*Bert arcade cabinets at high speed.

Q: OH GOD, MY VIRGIN EYES AND EARS!

A: M rated, bro. Kind of goes without saying. Thus far there's been gory bits and some PG-13 style nudity accompanied by some R rated implications. I have no idea if things will go more one way or another, but to err on the side of caution, silly rabbit, this isn't for kids. Which happens to be a line from this cereal themed porno I saw once. Cap'n Crunch really knows how to munch carpet.

Q: Why are you so terrible?

A: This game came out just the other day and I haven't had my copy long. I will not progress one frame of animation beyond where I am in these videos unless a camera is running. Fully blind. In a puzzle game. Yeah.

    Q: Playstyle? Choices? Ending?

A: No clue. I'm pretty much intending to play Vincent the way I see his character with a little bit of improvisation or personal choice depending on the situation. I'm just going to see where things go. So I'm probably going to miss things and make choices that probably won't lead to whatever obscure "perfect" ending there may be. If such a thing exists. Yeah, I haven't looked at shit. It's just the way I'd normally play this thing. Just with recordings happening and me talking a lot more than usual.

    Q: Needs better commentary

A: I'm all ears. It's hard to think and talk at the same time when you're doing two different things. I may or may not get better. I'm only at video 2 right now.

Q: Are you actually going to finish this one?

A: Yes. And I haven't abandoned the other one. I just happened to set a slower update schedule since there were some pretty big posts/loads of video and happened to get a bit lazy with recording. Partially because I was playing some other stuff. I'll get back to it once I'm done with this. With how I play games, it won't take too long. Probably

Q: Is this LP going to be absurdly long?

A: Probably not. Word on the street is it's about 8-10 hours in length. So it seems like a decent enough length without overstaying its welcome. The videos might be a bit long, but this way I don't have to constantly stop playing. You're free to watch the absurdly long videos in segments and make your own stopping points. Whatever works.
