I admit I am quite conservative when it comes to some things. Sexuality is definitely one of them. Does anyone here think Britney Spears would be as famous today if she didn't dress like a prostitute all the while preaching that she's a virgin and loves it. PFFFT!

Rap sucks so much its unbelievable, i hate all rappers from Dr.Dre to that f*cker Eminem, you cannot even call it music, its just some guy getting a fast beat which was made on a computer then getting the "singer" to say as many swear words they know in under 3minutes and call it a hit single, that aint music

And Jimmy punk does rule !, if you are stuck for good bands then listen to the great bands such as Rancid or maybe NoFX, so go listen to other types of music and you decide what you like, but keep away from Rap, Garage, Dance, House, and stuff that just envolves a guy singing about doing women

In acual fact, I like...*counts*...4 types of music. Rock (The 70s and 80s stuff), Classical Music, J-Pop and Video Game music.

I don't really like any other groups.

I think all types of music have ups and downs ,

all commercial music be it rap - rock - country - is crap. (most of em anyway).. seems like u guys really hate rap and are into rock and Punk. Don't think that if the commercial side of one genra is
retarded. the rest is as well. eg. rock , not all of it about death ,
depression, sadness or anger. Neither is Rap , nor Country.

Just enjoy all types of music , when u wanna, without any prejudice, i've been down that road and concluded that i'll be missing out if i don't listen to a whole genra just cuz my friends think it's gay. Anyway to all u Eminem haters out there, there is a really cool dis by OCP, it's 2 songs and with a really fun tune.

I think music isn't what everyone else thinks. I only care what music I like. I'm into all sorts of music. A general rule for me is t6o ask myself when I'm LIstening to music "does this require talent?"
Rap requires none. If you compare music now to the great music of the 70s and 80s it isn't that great. There was an imense amount of talent back then and I don't know where it's gone but good music for the most part now is underground. I think it's about time for MTV to go. I'm sick of them. They get teenage girls to promote music and all we get is rap and boy bands. How much good rock do you ever hear on MTV? Even if you do it's late at night or really early in the morning. The music buisness is in trouble though because people like me listen to old stuff. How many 70 s\80s stations are there compared to New stations. And also CD burning isn't going away. But old music is great. I still think Dark Side Of The Moon is THE Best album ever.
