I wish my PS1's laser wasn't so bloody knackered. It freezes loading games and FMVs/CDDA skips like crazy. If I could ever come across a fat old PS1 in the wild I'd totally pick it up to replace the laser in mine with... But I've not seen any for at least 10 years.

Decided I'm selling everything gaming related except for the DS, PS2, PS3 and 360, at least for now. Time for a motherfuckin' clear out, yo.

Spent the last half an hour adjusting my PSX's laser. Finally got it able to load games (FMVs and music still skipping) - As long as the games load without problems I'm not bothered. So I thought I'll clean the laser instead of adjusting it any further. Cleaned the lens now it's back to square one, struggling to read games and taking forever to load.

I plan to keep my eye open in Cash Converter next time I'm in town.

Also my Playstation's working pretty well again now, I guess the lens cleaner fluid hadn't evaporated fully the first time I went to load a game. FMVs are running pretty well too now. CDDA still isn't too good though.
