Question Resident Evil 2 freezes randomly

Hi. I downloaded the Resident Evil 2 (E) iso files. They play fine except that they randomly freeze when I make the character walk to an area that changes the camera angle of the rooms. I'm using epsxe 1.7.0

I'm currently running windows 7 home premium. 1.73 GHz, 2 GB of ram, 32-bit OS.

I'm using P.E.Op.S Software drive 1.17 for video

I tried mounting the ISO on daemon tools lite, but to no avail....

To know if the image file is damaged, use CDMage and check it for errors, some can be fixed.

Cycona, if vague advices like that is what you are going to give, it's better if you don't give them.

Also I'm talking shit? I've played through Resident Evil 2 on my PS1 from CD-R just fine. Obviously you're doing something wrong. Blaming the ISO is NOT the answer.

Try running it on the previous version, such as 1.6.0 and 1.5.2.

If you have card that support OpenGL, switch to Pete's OpenGL2 Driver as well.
