Yes.

Unless you place it in adapter mode but still the range is much weaker because less power is used.

I was using a Wireless USB dongle to browse the internet and whatnot, but since I started playing TF2 I'm preferring to use a wired connection, gives me a much better ping.

The adapter is 150 mb/s.
but it's useless because it doesn't work.
I wonder if I could open it up to see if anything got out of place....
