Yeah I'm running 4 sprites. It's not too different. It does get some older control like Vedalkan Shackles and boards nonsense like Engineered Explosives and Threads of Disloyalty. The only creatures that aren't manlands are Spellstutter Sprite, Scion of Oona and the two good Cliques. Manlands are funny with the Sprite. It gives it such reach. Wouldn't be as necessary if you had Bitterblossom though. 4x Muta and 2x Faerie Conclave.

    Stupid forum not working...

Anyway, a few minutes ago I top decked a Shackles to take over a game I would have lost the next turn.

Dark Ascension: Sorin, Lord of Innistrad

    Oracle Text:
[+1]: Put a 1/1 black Vampire creature token with lifelink onto the battlefield.
[-2]: You get an emblem with "Creatures you control get +1/+0."
[-6]: Destroy up to three target creatures and/or other planeswalkers. Return each card put into a graveyard this way to the battlefield under your control.

    Edition: Dark Ascension
    Type: Planeswalker - Sorin
    Cast: 2WB

And then Wizards felt they needed a transcendent card in this set. What epic board material this is...

How many loyalty counters does Sorin come in with?

Also, why is that artifact so good?

    3.

And IKR...it's pretty valid for the current block because of all the graveyard strats but still...I guess this is further proof that they only care about Standard.

Well standard does control like 50% of all of MTG's wealth. That and it's the fastest moving format, so usually any changes in the metagames usually have to apply to standard first.

    Yeah I understand it.

Too bad though, there would be some epic grave strats in Standard but that is such a cock block.

It's just one artifact though, one really really hateful artifact, is there any good artifact removal in standard?

Yeah Ancient Grudge. You'd have to splash for it though.

Tempered Steel is so much on top now that you see main deck Ancient Grudge. Lol.

I assumed as much, colors that usually have graveyard tricks usually aren't conducive to hating on artifacts.

Yeah, there's a 2/1 zombie for B that can cast from the grave if you control another zombie.

Ancient Grudge is 1R destroy target artifact. Flashes for G.

Oh pretty much. I just got swept by a top level deck, but there is potential here, based on match-ups. Plus winning with Hivemind is just boss. Humourously I was one turn away from winning the first game.

    Edit:

    Pro shit in this deck.

    Pentad Prism
    Ethereal Usher
    Tolaria West
    Simian Spirit Guide

    GET SOME.
