RE4 Unresponsive

RE4 will start on my PS2 emulator PCSX2 but for an unknown reason won't respond to controls. Anyone know how to fix?

details please? are you using a gamepad or are you trying to use a keyboard? if either check your gamepad plugin settings and check your bindings are all correct also is it only this game?

Using a gamepad (specifically an xbox controller) and it only has a problem on RE4.

check to ensure that the bindings are correct, see if it helps to re bind the controler and have you tried using the arrow keys?

A few key questions:

1. Are you using 0.9.8 ?
2. Which plugin are you using ?

Using 0.9.8 and LilyPad svn (r4510) 0.10.0 [LilyPad 4600]
Using those my version of RE4 (the ISO at least) responds to my wired xbox 360 controller

One thing to do is check and make sure the XInput selected inside of your controller plugin if using 0.9.8

Hes already stated that hes using the latest version 0.9.8, plugins we dont change they are the default for PCSX2 they are not needed to be changed, also he said this is the only game he has problems with if you actually read my posts and his before jumping to the gun you will see he's already stated everything ,

TO OP:
make sure that you turn on your controller before you play the game, when you load the game go to your lillypad plugin settings and make sure that your controllers attached to the pc (you will know if it isnt because it will say [detached] next to your binding
