What do you mean you had it sealed in bubble wrap? No amount of movement, even extreme shaking, is going to damage a solid state memory device. The only real damage could come from water, crushing and possibly magnets.

You can try to clean the pins off with a little bit of isopropyl alcohol on a Q-tip. Sometimes the pins become so dirty, that instead of a connection, there is nothing but filth making contact.

If you are ordering these cards, you could be getting the wrong region. Memory cards are not region specific, but FMCB is.

FMCB will only load if the card is IN the console WHILE you turn it on. So, go ahead and reboot the machine and will see the FMCB splash-logo.
THen all of the apps that are installed will show up as a list. ESR games normally boot themselves, so just stick one in and wait.

What size is the MC? I've had no end of trouble trying to get FMCB booting with a 32mb but, it works fine with 8mb.

NO, do not "just burn a game."
Every game image must first be patched with ESR-Patcher. Then you can burn them.

You'll need to convert CD games before you can ESR patch them.

Here is an attachment of the ESR-Patcher that I use.
Also, what Shard says is true. You can only play games on DVD. If it is originally a CD, it must be convert, but most games already have a link for the DVD converted version.

No clue what a quid is worth, but I would pay $20 for that.

    No, $20 - $25 is a fair price for 100 DVDs.

That's a decent price then. I haven't checked the conversion rate for pounds in months, so I wasn't sure.
