    Default modded xbox 360

    a buddy modded my xbox 360 a few years back. how can i use xbox live? i havent been banned yet. i plan to only use real games. can i just use different hard drives or do i have to put the old firmware back on the xbox??

    im gettin an e 73 with the 4th red ring segment ??whats this about??

    If it was flashed years ago then it's not worth signing into Live as the old firmware will get it banned. No, changing hard drives or any BS like that will not save it.

    Plus, E73 = it's dead. Get a new one...

    You could have bought a new drive and put it into it, though you'd need the drive key from the old drive, your mate should have saved it from when it was flashed originally.

    Replacing the drive won't solve anything, his console got E73 which is motherboard failure. Why spend money on a new drive for a dead console?

    Even if he did. The old drive has still played copied games and that data's been logged in the 360.

    So it would be a waste of time. And this thread's not got any purpose. Locked.
