Default Hi-Res Texture Pack for Shadowman N64)

Hey everyone. I just finished working on a high-res texture pack for Shadowman on the N64 and I thought I'd share it, in case anyone wants to play that game and try it.

In general, I've increased texture size from 64x64 and 16x16 to 256x256 and applied some filters to make 'em look good. This may not be the hugest texture size ever, but I want as man people as possible to be able to use it without much of a hit on performance.

Though the overall result is quite good, it's not perfect. Firstly, due to the low polygon count on some character models, no amount of texture work is going to make them look especially good. Secondly, I have made some mistakes in adding bump maps and shaders to a couple of textures which makes them seem out of place (a couple wall textures in the Tenement and a ceiling in the Sewer come to mind).

Also, I'd like to recommend Azimer's HLE Audio Plugin v0.56, becuase it's the only one I've tried which doesn't have timing problems during cutscenes with voice acting. If your default sound plugin works correctly, no problem.

The Pack is divided into 3 parts due to size (202 MB). Here are the links:

    Part 1 (95,78 MB): http://www.mediafire.com/?9s08tu03m0u7bpl
    Part 2 (95,78 MB): http://www.mediafire.com/?a2cdg8jdlk4qgx8
    Part 3 (11,13 MB): http://www.mediafire.com/?9894ac1dc8v929o

    And some pics

You can use it freely, so long as you credit me, MasterV, for it's creation. Enjoy!

EDIT: Because I'm stupid, I forgot to mention some things.
    1) This is for the U.S. version of Shadowman. It won't work for the PAL version.
2)If anyone has any problems with it, feel free to ask.

    UPDATE:
I've made an expansion pack of sorts. It fixes problematic textures in the London Underground and the Tenement, as well as the Prison and the Gad Temples. Just extract it and replace the necessary textures from the previous hi-res folder with the ones from the archive. Things should now be smoother overall, with less textures sticking out like a sore thumb. I've also noticed that when using compression on the Glide plugins, the textures appear smudged, so keep that in mind.

Nice to see I'm not the only one that mods games, looks like a nice job

Not a game I would play personly but still I have to say well done

Perhaps best as a general gaming thread, but for now I will leave it here, maybe move it for you later

    Thanks for the comments fellas.

Now, the fact of the matter is I do have the PC version and all the textures are from that one. Before I did this, I tried modifying the PC version but it's quite stubborn and it won't even run when I modify anything. So I took the longer road and did it for the N64 version.
