I've been playing a lot of Trouble Witches and CoSIII, so I haven't had a chance to finish the eXceed games yet.

I finished 3rd a few days ago, no continues. I'll definitely have to do 2nd whenever I get around to it. Haven't tried any of the CoS', and I've seen the demo of Trouble Witches on XBLA when my buddy dl'd it; looked pretty good.

I've got a PC versio of TW, the Xbox Live version has extra characters. I've been working on going through CoSIII on hard and the third mode. Enemies explode into bullets when they die and the bullets are aimed toward you, it's pretty intense .

Oh so there is a PC version. This pleases me. I'll have to check both of them out.

Either way, I don't mind it on PC, since it's still 360 controller compatible. Hell, I play all my shmups with it.

I use my Rumblepad 2, I managed to get the rumble working again recently. For whatever reason, I do better when I use my Wingman in shooters with planes .

    Nice.

Also, Deathsmiles. Even bought the theme for my 360. Only the second theme I've bought, ever. First being a SSFIV beach theme with the ladies.

I meant to buy it when it came out, don't remember what I bought instead.

I vaguely remember this indie shmup that was very colorful (and had a lot of vector graphics if I'm not mistaken), and it was hard as crap, but really fun and cool.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

    That's a rather vague description. Dunno, Revolver360?

The only shmups I have played on any consistent basis are Galaga (usually the NES port) and Raptor: Call of the Shadow. Which is a helluva lot of fun, although not particularly difficult.

The last time I played Galaga I quit far in, I just couldn't take the exact same stuff over and over . I love Raptor, it's been too long since I last played it.
