Final Burn Alpha & Uni-Bios

I Finally found a thread stating how to get the uni bios working with Final Burn Alpha but, its not working for me, anyone have any insight in this issue?

What are you trying to do (asides from use the Universe BIOS) and at what point does it fail???

e.g. selcting it/setting setting in ect..

ok, I do everything as specified in that thread and i press F2 to enter the service menu then i exit, the unibios does not show and the game loads like normal

Do you actually have the Universe BIOS? the latest version is version 3

I have the latest Uni Bios , Got it from the original Source http://unibios.free.fr/

Version 3 has not been released for free yet by the creator.

Final burn Alpha and Mame Plus have all versions of the unibios (except 3.0) built into them, you only need the bios for other emulators.

This is just a strange occurrence which I Cant seem to figure out as to why dispite following the steps to the letter , oh well.

Works perfectly in the new mame plus .

I have only realy played Neo-Geo in Console mode via Neo-Geo console emulators rather than Arcade emulators

I guess it could be a FBA version issue rather than you doing something wrong

Could be, il have to try a older version sometime,

I mostly play in Console mode as well, mainly Kawaks But Mame and FBA make them look and sound so much better (Console mode thanks to unibios )
