    Default Dolphin Emultator not working?

I downloaded the Dolphin Emulator for Gamecube and downloaded the files for Super SMash Brothers Melee. Whenever I try to play SSBM it says.

"Cant creat opengl renderer. You might be missing some required opengl extensions, check the logs for more info"

Is this the Gamecube Rom's problem or Dolphin, and how do I fix this?

Switch to DirectX 9 (xp) 10/11 (Vista / 7) it renders much faster than OpenGL on Dolphin anyways

Like Kouen said, go to Config and try changing your video plugin to the D3D9 one. Update your drivers, make sure you use the latest one. Also, post your specs so we can at least see what kind of PC you're trying to run Dolphin with, or if it's even capable of running the emulator. See this thread for the minimum requirements.

Okay so I amusing an Asus computer. 4.1 on the Windows Experience Index
    Intel Pentium Processor CPU P6100
    2.00GHz
    Ram 3.00GB (2.86 GB usable)
64 bit Operating system. Not sure what else you need. Also I *Kinda* got my dolphin emulator to work.
I went to Configuration adn changed my Graphics from OpenGl to Dolphin SOftware Renderer. The only problem is whenever I try to play something, like SSBM, it runs super slow, to the point it is rediculous.

That is not an option. Under the graphics, I only have OpenGl and Dolphin Software Renderer.

Well, I am using a laptop, no graphic changes, but it is an Asus, so... I don't know? I have been using a n64 and GBA emulator and nothing is wrong that way. I am downloading the DirectX now. Thank you.

Upgrade your system to get a faster performance with Dolphin. Really though, they're a lot of factors on how fast an emulator will run on a system. Some games may run at a decent speed, while others will run slow. It also depends on how much processing the game takes as well. While using Dolphin I played Kirby's Epic Yarn and DKCR. Kirby's Epic Yarn ran faster because it dosen't use that many resources and is simple in graphics. DKCR which has more going and uses more power ran slower.

NOTE: My average FPS for KEY was about 49.-50FPS, while DKCR was 25-30FPS. Just barley playable for DKCR, but too slow for me.

Millage varies per game, Turning off fog sometimes helps in the graphics settings.

To be fair its mostly now CPU the beefier the cpu the faster your games.
