I've still got an 2400HD Pro and I manage to play new games, barely .
Back before they divorced, my parents had a tendency to go to the bookstore, browse, and buy books. Then they get home, get about 3 chapters in and realize "Wait, I already have 3 of this book." But I know they've got the Icewind Dale trilogy and a few other of the Drizzt books. I was never much of a reader, but I used to see the Forgotten Realms logo all over their bookshelf when the books weren't boxed up.
Damn, time to ship off to slave labor.
Not to mention the Runic Games people actively make games that are playable on older hardware. The official Torchlight II site says that they aren't sure about specs yet, but it'll likely be "similar to Torchlight," which runs on my netbook. And hers is better than mine.
Anyway, now that I've consumed a delicious snack, I need to go take a shower. Then probably play something.
Preferably something without any trophies. I spent my entire day yesterday finishing up the plat for The Force Unleashed.
