Super Nintendo emulator with sound channel management?
Hey everyone, re-registered after the crash in december and I just wanna say how thankful I am for this site. Not only has it offered me emulation throughout half of my life, it's also been a platform for guidance in emulation and I've even found some FLAC soundtracks here (music's what keeps my heart throbbing.
I have a question... I know by experience that there are NES emulators out there with the ability to mute certain channels of the sound (NESten), but I'm wondering if there are any SNES emulators with this function? For example, a SNES has 8 channels, as far as I'm concerned, and various sounds are assigned to specific channels, perhaps the sound of a sword swung will come from channel three and in the NES situation, I'd be able to mute that sound.
