Any way out of this problem or to restart a temple in ocarina of time?

In ocarina of time, I used one key too many, and somehow I don't have enough keys to keep going. I have gone every path possible, but none lead to another key. I have looked through walk throughs, but none have addressed this problem. I already saved, so I can't go back. Can i restart or something??

That should not be able to happen. I've gotten stuck many times in OOT but I've always found a way sooner or later. Just keep looking and you'll find a solution.

If it is the Water Temple I can understand that, That was very confusing.

On one play through I actually ran out of keys in the Water Temple and couldn't progress because of it. Cheat for keys and the problem will be solved .

and i thought i was out of keys but I actually just missed a key chest, hard as hell to spot.

imma have to say that the water temple was one of the hardest levels ive faced in any game only cuz its confusing i too was stuck many times without a key i feel your pain glad u got it!

Am I the only person who didn't find the Water Temple overly difficult...? Yes, it was the most difficult level in the game, but I don't think I've ever gotten "lost" for more than a couple of hours.
Anyways. I'm sure that you're just missing a key. If you're absolutely stuck, check out the player's guide and take a look at the temple that you are stuck on. Chances are you're missing one of the keys.

I'd have to 1-up you and say that I didn't even think it was the hardest one in the game.

Then again, I get stuck in EVERY temple.

I've gotten myself stuck in that optional place where you get the ice arrow. I took a wrong turn in the maze-like area and used a key that I couldn't find a replacement for. Never in the Water Temple though, although it did give me crap the first time through.

you have probably missed the key in the middle room: The room where the water can be raised to the middle level. Enter the room when all the water is drained and notice the Brown block you are standing on… Now, use the hookshot to reach the panel where you play Zelda’s Lullaby and raise the water level. Notice how the brown block has risen with the water? Use the iron boots and go back down to the door you entered from, notice the hole? Go in there and defeat all the enemies, which leads you to the key. (taken from GAMEFAQS)
