    Default Help with MAME frontend

I was just wondering if anyone has the same problem. I recently restored a beautiful Asteroids machine into a MAME cab. I have been trying to set up a nice frontend. I was curious to know if anyone elses antivirus shows Maximus Arcade as a virus or malware.
I'm listening but I don't hear very much...

MameUI is what I would recomend (it's just a windows gui version of MAME asides from the gui it is no different to MAME, MAMEUI is also kept as up to date as the original MAME)

and no not had virus warnings via any MAME rom though my mame will be a bit out of date

Note: I removed Sandra89065's post that just looked to be spam and was of no help

Thanks for the input. I was just wondering if I should use it as a frontend for multiple emulator applications inside a cabinet I recently restored. It had originally been read as a virus but it was a problem with the code that made it appear similar to a virus.

I've not had any experience with Maximus but I've been using Mala for a while now. It's easy to set up and super customizable. I'd recommend a frontend if you're running different systems. It just makes seem that much cleaner. I've got mine set to change games when I move the Player 1 joystick and changes systems by moving the player 2 joystick. Mala also lets you set new key commands for each emulator, if you want. Example: Mame exits with ESC, FCEU(nintendo) exits with F12, and Snes9X exits with Alt-F4, etc... You can set it up in Mala to have any 1 key, let's say Z, to exit each emulator. For Mame Z=ESC, for FCEU Z=F12, for Snes9X Z=Alt-F4 and so on. Once set correctly, Malafe can start up when Windows boots and you'll never have to use your keyboard and mouse. Keeps the "arcade" illusion going strong. lol Hope that was helpful. If not, feel free to tell me to piss off.

Let's not revive old threads, please. Especially when the original question has already been answered.
