    Wow!
You really think so expensive? It's dirt-cheap!

A unique item for that price counting on the quality of textbooks and careful they had to design the product is remarkable. Really a bargain.

Hmmm, Since I haven't played the game I really can't criticize it much, but, based on looks it looks like something made out of RPG Maker (In a vid i saw), It looks as if it was VX maybe or even 2k3 then ported onto a cartridge. I guess if you're into the older RPGs like Chrono trigger and Secret of Mana, and such with an ATB system, I guess I could see the appeal. As long as you're happy with it then more power to you. It's always good to find that "special" game, even if it doesn't appeal to the masses, or on a system games are no longer manufactured for =P. I'd probably get it for the fact to play a new game for an old console.

I wish RPG Maker games had so much quality.
I see as major attraction at Pier Solar, a completely new game and to present a retro console.
We must take into consideration that they have not produced the game with a simplified and common graphics engine, as those that existed at the time. The guys did everything ourselves and started from scratch.

Oh I really don't have a doubt that they have, but it just looks so similar to RPG Maker, and the way the mapping is laid out.

At any case I've seen some pretty good retro style games come out of RPG Maker. However they usually have an entire crew working on them. It's rare but can be done. The majority are just people trying to create them by themselves or with a friend. It's very hard to accomplish creating a good game like that considering coding the fucker is a bitch in and of itself. Mapping is pretty easy, but the rest of it..eh. In anycase I was just stating the similarity of the two. If I had the money, I'd probably get myself since I'd like to play an RPG on my Genesis/MegaDrive.
