Smile Here is how to get unlimited "Regular Downloads" on Megaupload.

Make no mistake. This will not give you premium status, nor will you be granted parallel downloads, but... the following steps will grant you unlimited access to the free / "Regular Downloads" on Megaupload without having to deal with the long, frustraing, exponentially increasing wait times.

    Notes:

-You'll only be able to download one file at a time, but the wait time will always be just 44 seconds per file instead of the frustrating 5 min., 15 min., 1 hour, etc. increases.

    - You do not need a Megaupload account for this to work.

    - You will need the Firefox browser.

    Download Links:
Links are hidden from guests. Please register to be able to view these links. -Remember, if you try to download more than one file, the second will fail and Megaupload will tell you to kick rocks. Make sure to wait for each to finish before even opening the download page of the next file. Be patient! 44 seconds is way better than 15 minutes or 3 hours!

-Your "user agent" will revert to "Default User Agent" when you close your browser. To regain your access to unlimited downloads in your next session, simply repeat step 9.

What? I've never seen even 5min!!! When I'm not logged in my delay equals 44 sec. After loggin in my delay reduces to 24 seconds.
I wonder why do you have to wait so long?

I don't want interesting times anymore

Lucky! It is odd isn't it? It does seem that the wait times vary and I have no idea why. My girlfriend bumps into those long waits too. A while back, I had a paid account, but it has since expired. Unless I pay again, I can't download multi-part files from Megaupload without insane waiting periods unless I use the method I described. It sucks, but it'll have to do for me right now. Hopefully, this will help others with the same problem.

I use J-downloader, and i get the 44 second wait times on most of the big sites (RS/MU/MF) but it's a regional thing.

Most US residents don't run into the wait times unless you go over their generous 3gb/day limit or something.

I think you've hit the nail on the head, Lee. Downloading tiny files like old NES roms and such is no problem. However, with new games for consoles and PCs, movies, and other large files, you can hit the daily bandwidth limit in no time. That's when the waiting periods kick in.

    Eh?
I have a free account with MU......unlimited traffic.
I only ever dl one link at a time no matter what the host anyway.
    I don't even remember what wait time I have......I suspect it's minimal.
    I use JDownloader.

    Spoiler warning:

I've never run into any big wait times for MU. And i've been using it for years. I will try this JDownloader thing though.

Yeah, at least where I'm at, I only get cutoff for a while after downloading a LOT of stuff, but you don't have to worry about it with JDownloader. It's kinda big, and there's always TONS of updates, but that program has seriously saved my life. No more downloading 72 part files individually, just put it in JDownloader, and we're good to go.
