Default Does anyone still greatly enjoy oldschool games?

I was wondering, Since alot of people are going nuts over new age technology and Graphics Seems everyone's forgetting that Older games are still Fun.
Does anyone here still Love Oldschool games just as much as when they were Fresh n New?

I know I Sure do, What about everyone else?

Me too. That's why I'd rather take an emulator over a newer game.

A pretty silly question to ask on an emulation board. But yes, I do enjoy them.

I actually tend to find them better than almost all of the newer games

Don' worry, it won't hurt... that much!

I think old games are amazing -- however, I can't play them on emulators for some reason. When I do, I find myself stopping after a hour at most -- but when I play them on the console with the original controller in my hands, I can play forever

Yes, I know I do. It seems that most of the time the older games have more feel to it, more attention to detail than some of the newer ones which tend to sacrifice overall game play and story for graphics. I'm not saying that all new games are bad, but it seems more and more are focusing mainly on graphics, not the actual game.

No, my 500 beaten classic games just proves that I have no life, not that I love older games.

I thought it was a pretty good conversation Topic since PS3 and 360 are hosted here too

If im feeling really hooked on a particular game i can go for a few hours, and boy does undubbing and Filters make this even more enjoyable.

    of course
    but only rpg's
its so nostalgic playing oldschool games
when I play it , I always remember when I and my friends play together and share the joy about the games
but now , only play alone and bring back those memories

Not THAT much, though I do find myself defending oldschool games in front of friends pretty often. Still, if I had the choice of buying one game, I'd choose a current gen game.

I enjoy old and new games equally, as long as it's a good game. Old games can be as enjoyable as new ones and vice versa.
