Canada has a severe lack of scottish people.The other day I answered an advertising phone call for my brother, who was out, and was asked if I was his partner. I don't know if that meant that I sounded like a woman, or that I sounded like an immensely camp man.
And you wouldn't want my voice. What sounds manly to you sounds terribly camp to most Scottish people.
And even my occasional skirmish to New Scotland doesn't tend to generate many people aside from trips to the highlands. And they're easily 4-5 generations removed from the real scottish.
