Got my provisional license in the post today.

I can now legally drive cars under other people's supervision! I don't know anyone to let me drive their car though. So, I'm no further in my quest of learning to drive.

I can now legally drive cars under other people's supervision! I don't know anyone to let me drive their car though. So, I'm no further in my quest of learning to drive.

Eh, having the thing that lets you legally do so, even with supervision, is important. Never know when the chance would come up, and it'd suck to be like "Well, yeah, I'd like to, but I didn't get my provisional yet." Unless you'd just be like "LOLFUK DA POLICE, I DO WHAT I WANT" and drive without it if the chance arose.

A provisional license over there means you still have to drive with a fully licensed person?
That's a learners permit over here........provisional license is the one you get when you first start out on your own (with restrictions).

Yeah it is pretty important.

I wish I knew someone with a full license who's been driving for 5+ years, so I could buy my own car and have them teach me in my car.
