    Default How do I run Taiko no Tatsujin 10 on MAME?

    I've got MAME 0.141 (64 bit) as the download page for TnT 10 says that it should work. I have the CHD file for it in a separate folder (with the same name as the rom) as suggested by some people on the net, but it still doesn't work. I keep getting the "missing one or more ROM or CHD images" message.
    I'm new to MAME, so please keep explanations simple.

    Thanks in advance.

    taiko10 requied those roms:
    r27v1602f.8g
    t101001-na-a.ic002
    t101001-na-a_spr.ic002
    tk10100-1-na-dvd0-a.chd

    - Put tk10100-1-na-dvd0-a.chd inside Roms\Taiko10 subdir
    - Download taiko10.zip (1.5 mb; contain t101001-na-a.ic002, t101001-na-a_spr.ic002)
    - Download sys256.zip ( 0,5 mb, contain the system256 bios --> r27v1602f.8g)
    - Put both zip inside your Roms\ dir

    Play

    I did everything there, I downloaded the BIOS (that's what I was missing before) and I put it in the "roms" folder with the taiko10 zip including both roms. I put the CHD in another folder called "taiko10" but it still says it's missing required roms or CHDs.

    The CHD is inside a ZIP file? If so, decompress it (they're already compressed)

    Do you use a command line version of mame or frontend like MameUI? Maybe you've forget to set the roms path.

    You can create a INI file for command line version:
    type "mame -cc"
    now open mame.ini
    search
    #
    # CORE SEARCH PATH OPTIONS
    #
    rompath roms

    and change roms with the full path like:
    rompath "C:\emulator\mame\roms\"

    On MameUI browse the menus (options/directories)

    I've already decompressed the CHD file. Do I just leave the BIOS in its .zip file in the rom folder, or do I have to make a new folder for it?
    And what's mameUI? ^-^;;
