    Default Anyone tired of Pokemon?

I am honestly sick of seeing pokemon now. The games, the anime, everything. Pokemon just seemed to go on too freaking long. its been a good 20 years now since it started and its still going on with the same crap over and over again.

at least the games are finally going into some kind of storyline to keep you into playing it instead of just beating the elite four then abandoning the game for 10 months :/

    anyone have any thoughts?

Y'know, you might get a better response if anything you've stated was actually factual.

I have to say I'm not a huge fan of Pokemon. I enjoy playing the games from time to time, but that's about it. Also, I'm pretty sure Pokemon has only been around for a little over 10 years.

when i was younger I enjoyed Pokemon Silver on my GBC but then it got annoying with all the merchandising , I just recently tried the new Pokemon White and its actually quite enjoyable .

It's actually been around for 15 years now (1996) so i don't really blame anyone for being sick of it.

I will admit I'm definitely a pokemon fangirl. However, I am a bit iffy about the new games. The story is okay but the monsters themselves just keep getting dumber and dumber with each generation. That's what I'm sick of.

The only Pokemon game I have ever played was Pokemon Snap! on the 64.
    I enjoyed it.

I played the first few pokemon games then stoped when i noticed there the same. Than Played pokimon snap for the 64, it was a fun game. I never did play the battle arena ones they did. I've seen the other ones but the feeling is gone. I did the card game with kids but that quickly lost it's appeal as well. They just all feel like the same game to me. They should come up with a pokemon game where you fight other pokemon in the wild. "Got to eat em' all!"

This reminds me of the chimpokomon episode of south park.

I really only enjoyed the originals, and the remakes of them that were made for the GBA. Those were actually very well done, even if they were just "filler" games. I never got interested anywhere beyond the first generation, but I still play it from time to time. Usually once or twice a year, I'll bust it out for a few days, then set it aside and start again in about six months.

Haven't really played anyone of the new ones either, but I'll never get tired of the first two generations.
