Question Having trouble with Soul Reaver (Dreamcast)

Every time I load Soul Reaver it boots just fine to the main menu, but once i select "start new game" it brings up a message telling me that Soul Reaver requires 50 blocks or more and that the game can be played just not saved. I ignore the message and start the game. The intro cinematic runs fine and smooth, then it cuts to actual gameplay where you can see raziel looking around and a few seconds after that it hangs. (emulation and audio continues but video and the game in general just stop)

I'm using NullDC and my computer meets the requirements (I run soul calibur and most other games full speed)

    Any help is appreciated.

Which version of the emulator you are using?
Have you tried using nullDC 1.0.4?

try making a fresh memory card file and format it in the Dreamcast bios, you should be able to boot bios from teh nulldc menu then go to memory card it will prob tell you it needs to be initilaised or something

Thanks Kouen, a fresh memory card worked.

Also, thanks to King for his suggestion.
