    especially x and xiii. xii is an open map. 7,8, and 9 (least of all 9) are mostly open maps, with little linearity to them. (in 7 and 8 you do whatever you want)

    Yes please, i dont want to get angry with anyone. Lets just agree to disagree. One more thing tho, if they werent linear, youd be so lost that you wouldnt want to play it, like FF1

    I agree that XII was less linear, but in 7, 8, 9, there is usually only one way you CAN go, or a direct line between locations.

    you can do whatever the freak you want for most of 8 and 9, and in 9 after disk 2 you can do whatever the freak you want.
