Long story short? Life. EP didn't feel like EP any more, and I asked CM to set me to retired in a last ditch effort to stick around/see if he and a couple of others were right about it just being me feeling overworked, as it were. It seems to have been.

I'll probably rejoin when I finish up this quarter's finals.

The bulk of the work maintaining EP falls on the shoulders of a small handful of people, so it's bound to become a bit much after awhile. Either way, I hope you'll stick around after all is said and done. This place just wouldn't be the same without you.

I can't say I've kept up with the behind the scenes happenings the past few weeks, as I've been extremely lazy with my mod duties. But I'm glad to hear that you seem to be considering rejoining the full time staff/admins. God knows that you all are the life blood that keeps this place running.
