You need a modified PSP console to play the games. PSP emulation isn't that great yet..

i would reccomend 1000 or 2000, then you will need a pandora battery and custom firmware.

Is that what you have now? or what you planned to buy?

If yours is PSP 3000, download all the required files, which are chickHEN, GEN-C, Prometheus, as well the signed 5.03 HEN.

Where would I download these? I also have a 3000, the God of War: Ghost of Sparta edition to be exact. Oh, and updating to 6.37 wouldn't be a problem would it? I was about to start the download last night, but I never did.

Those are the files that required to put CFW on 3000(and new 2000 model), which enable you to play downloaded games, or emulators, if your PSP firmware is 5.03 and below.

    Unfortunately, yes.

Then I'm out of luck. My bro got a hold of the PSP and decided he should update it. So now I'm on 6.37. Guess I'll be waiting a little longer before I can do this.

Well, you can still play homebrew games through the signed HBL on your current firmware.

SWEET! This will hold me over then. But how do I install it? I know I have to plug my PSP up to the comp. by USB, but what's after that?

EDIT: Nevermind. I figured it out.

Any signed apps/homebrew can be run directly through XMB, just make sure to put it in the right folder.
    e.g PSP/GAME
