Default PCSX2: Dual Shock 2 or...

    Hello,

I'm looking for gamepad that will be 100% compatible with PCSX2. Atm I have Tracer Flash Fighter, it's good pad but L3 and R3 just don't work (some driver issue I guess) so my adventure with Darkwatch was over after 30 seconds.

I'm thinking about original Dual Shock 2 and adapter or something from Logitech. I heard that vibration in DS2 is not working because it needs 7V and USB can only support 5V (probably even less from front panel), is it true or maybe I need 'right' adapter?

What should I take? Dual Shock 2 or some other pad?

Sorry for my bad english, and thanks for posts.

    Xbox 360 controller

Wired or Wireless it doesn't matter, that's what I use and it does the job perfect.

That being said I have a real PS2 slim as well but i use the emu to verify the disc image works

Yeah, a 360 controller is the best way to go. In fact, it's what I use. You can download the necessary driver for it directly from Microsoft's website.

I was under the idea that it was PnP on Windows 7 machines.

Mine works with no drivers in any case

I wouldn't know, I run XP pro. So I had to install a driver.

Makes sense. I'm still living in the stone age, having to install drivers manually and what not.
