The best in that whole list is Knights in the Nightmare, for sure.

Am I the only person who liked Pyuo Pop Fever?

I really love that game. It ate up a lot of time, still does. Best $20 ever spent.

Contact is a neat little experiment, but the amount of grinding.....good lord.

I've seen the numbers run for contact, maxing out everything would take months. Izuna is kinda like pokemon mystery dungeon, chocobo mystery dungeon, shiren the wanderer, you know, kinda like rogue. Luminous Arc is supposed to be pretty good, but I haven't played much of them. Steal Princess is okay, kinda reminds me of Alundra a little. And the Megaten games are gold if you can stand the rapacious difficulty.

I don't know what it is about Atlus. They have so many games that are just golden. They make some of my favorite RPGs of all time. (Persona, Nocturne, Devil Survivor, Demon Souls....) It's funny, though, because as many good games as they have some games you look at and just have to ask yourself. "WTF is this shit?" But, in my opinion they're right up there with square-enix for making great RPGs. One thing I have to give to Atlus is the reason that some of their games "fail" is because they're always trying to come up with fresh concepts of gameplay. Something that has waned from square-enix's focus in recent years.

I consider this an insult to Atlus with SE's recent track record.

BTW, they don't make many games as you would think but just bring them to the states, like Luminous Arc or even the first Disgaea before NiS could do it themselves, even inserted an extra song into the game:

Yeah, I didn't mean that they were even on the same level. What I really meant is that SE overshadows them, but I think that's outrageous. SE's mind numbingly same RPGs have lost the ability to hold my attention. But just try to rip me away from Persona or Demon's Souls and you'll come back with a bloody stump.
