    Default PAL games

    umm i'm trying to run ff12 pal but it won't read.I've tried using USA bios and europe bios but it's not working.Ahh ok sorry lemme post my specs and the file


    System Spec.
    Operating System:Windows 7 Ultimate

    Processor:AMD athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ 2.71GHz

    RAM:2.00GB

    Graphics Card:RADION HD 4870

    Also It's an Iso file.

    copy protected try finding a patch or download a non pal version

    Backiece, with that little info you provide is hard to help you. What file are you trying to run and it's not being read?
    Also, make sure you've read the PS2 FAQ pinned in this subforum, if your comp is not good enough, PS2 emulation won't be possible.

    And yeah when I run It just goes to the two memory cards.Oh and If It's copyright protected can you guys help me out with a patch? I know It's probably asking too much though but thanks for your time!.

    Are you sure it's copy protected and you aren't confusing it with FF VIII..?
    im not sure if it is copy protected but i heard that 99% of pal games were? is that false information?

    What DVD plugin are you using and where did you get the BIOS file?

    Mostly the NTSC games, I think.

    @Backiece: Are you using PCSX2? If yes, which version, and if there are any errors on the Console Window when loading the game, post it here.

    Ahh Sorry guys for the late reply I got It to work, I just rebooted my PC and It started up normally.
    And I know this is probably off-topic but can you guys gimme some FPS tips? the cutscenes are running somewhat slow at times ;( the gameplay Isn't that bad though.Also @Cookie Monster unfortunately I can't remember where ;( though If It's still necessary I'll try to trace back ;o.

    And meganova I'm using pcsx2 0.9.7 r3878

    Graphic Plugin: GDSx 2763 (MSVC 15.00 SSE2) 0.1.16 [GDSx-SSE2]

    Drop in FPS happen sometimes during gameplay for most games on PCSX2, though you can tweaks the emulator settings a bit to gain some speed,
    but if it doesn't make the game totally 'unplayable', I guess you can still bear with it, considering at your PC specs.

    Your current version should have the latest GSdx compiled with it, unless you download it seperately, get the latest one from the main site, which is 3693+.
    and you might want to try using SpeedHacks as well.
