If you stretch the definition of "witch" though, I have a personal top favourite:

    The Voodoo Lady!

    Yay Monkey Island
Witches don't have to be female.

For me...I don't know many characters that actually use "witch" as a defining character point, as opposed to just being a magic-user. Probably Marisa Kirasame by default, I suppose. The Witch Princess in the Harvest Moon games tends to range from a bit of a brat to amusing but standard tsundere. Marisa's also a bit of a brat, but absolutely funny in the process.

As far as I know, the title used for a male witch is a "Warlock"

I heard someone mention Voodoo, I don't see why we couldn't include Witch Doctors since it is imo in the same are of practice. Although I can't really recall one from any particular game atm
Same with the Shaman of the various cultures.
When I want your opinion, I will diffuse it from you through osmosis!

A warlock was the term for an oathbreaker in Scottish Gaelic, albeit associated with a very specific kind of oathbreaker today. We'll set aside common interpretation, but outside of Scotland, witches could be male or female. It wasn't until the Malleus Maleficarum, a hilariously misogynistic and blinkered text, was released that people started associating witches with females, and even that acknowledged male witches. In Scandinavia, particularly Iceland, pagan Nordic influence meant that more men than women were condemned for witchcraft, for instance. Don't even get me started on how people see the Inquisition and witch hunts.
