Default AlienGrounder's Hang Out: AlienGrounder: AlienGrounder

    Inspired by Gare's new LP.

Because that flash game is hilarious in every way.

Anyone wanna give away there PSP

Mine is starting to act up QQ gonna have to replace my old PSP 1000 I think, UMD Drive is randomly thinking ive opened the door when I haven't, its odd because the switch that registers if a UMD is in or not seems fine

And I know the first answer is why worry about the drive if its hacked...

    This be why

If the UMD drive was working on my first PSP I'd offer to trade but, alas it is not .

Have a poke around inside. I've fixed a 1000 before by using pliers to bend the UMD drive back into shape, and then cleaned out the switch for it. And to be quite honest, I might be willing to give you my 1000 once I get one of the NGP's, depending on how well they turn out when hacked

Oh, and that's a pretty nice collection Have you tried out PoPoloCrois? Very few people know about it, but I thought it was a fantastic JRPG, my favorite PSP game to date. I also thought MOH heroes was excellent.

I actually got mine for free from a friend, the analog stick and UMD drive were already messed up . I was going to replace the analog stick but I have seen nothing but complaints about have the same issues of a jittery analog with a replacement.

Ya im trying a few bits including leaving it without a battery in for a few hours, its a very odd issue and I know its the UMD Drive thats doing it, During play sometimes it will show the want to exit game screen like when you open the drive or press home ingame, but in this case i know its the drive as i hear the drive reset and start up again, as if i opened the drive your like under half a second.

Ive tested the Door Sensor Switch and it seems fine i don't have to move it all that much before the drive kicks in this is whats stumping me, also its clean as hell in there as i try to take great care of my stuff

You know what the kicker is.. past 2 days i bought 5 PSP Games on ebay

@ Steve : the give away thing was a joke (although i wouldn't say no to a free psp)

So Gabriel Inglesis got off a ticket by playing the Cops theme.

    I might try that.
