    Default Final Fantasy IX problems.

Hey, I'm using PSXe and I recently downloaded a Final Fantasy IX ISO, and everything was all good until I got to the third disc, and I think a cutscene is trying to start, but every time it cuts to black, the ISO freezes and won't do anything. This happened once before on the second disc, and I pressed F7 (I'm not even entirely sure what it does) but it seems to slightly lessen the graphics, and the cutscene went through. However, I've been trying to do the same thing on the third disc but it doesn't seem to work this time. I've tried changing the video plug-in as well, though I've only tried one other plug-in and that didn't seem to work either. If anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Try playing the game on 1.5.2 or 1.6.0 version.

But, on which cutscenes did the game freeze?

*SPOILERS* It was the cutscene right after the card tournament in Treno, then Eiko runs up and says something bad is about to happen to Alexandria, then it cuts to Kuja and he's talking about Bahamut, then it cuts and the game freezes. I'm assuming it's a cutscene where Bahamut attacks Alexandria.

Just downloaded Epsxe 1.6.0 and it froze in the same spot, going to try 1.5.2 right now.

*EDIT* Also just tried 1.5.2 and it also froze in the same spot. I've also tried redownloading the ISO, but I didn't have any luck with that either.

Did you use savestates to play that part of game? If yes, load your game from the memory card(the recent save you made), and go through that scene again(without using savestates).
There are only 2 reasons that may cause that to happen, savestates or bad image file.

or Try using SapuCDR plugin, with your ISO in virtual drive, and load it as 'Run CDROM'.

I use savestates and I use the game saves as well. I'll try loading from the actual save and get back to you. Thanks for your help.
