    lol im using a psp 3001 and i installed the cfw on it but what got me is that it went from the chick hen thingie to 5.03 MHU
    and i've never heard of MHU
    could someone provide some helpful suggestions?
    it would be greatly appreciated ^^;

    well actually checked someone elses and saw that they used cfw 3.70 also. im just wondering has anyone else used it? i saw that the 3.60 cfw installed 5.03 33-6 also but if MHU works then its cool

    MHU or CFWE is one of the CFW that can be installed on 3000 with 5.03 firmware,
    but using GEN(with Prometheus add-on) is recommended on 3000 model.
    Just make sure to uninstall that MHU, and restore your PSP to original settings before load GEN-C, and of course chickHEN before that.

    and since 5.03 has been signed,
    you don't have to go through the traditional way when you want to load all the HEN and GEN again.

    Shut down your PSP, reboot, and then go to System Settings, choose Restore to Default settings.

    After that, turn off both UMD options on the System Settings, and then check your firmware, make sure it is 5.03 only(no MHU at the end).
    Then follow these steps,
    -Load chickHEN R2.
    -Download GEN-C, put it in your GAME folder, and then run it through XMB.
    -On the GEN Installation menu, press X button to install GEN-C.
    -After you have done that, download/install Prometheus(same process with GEN, but hold R button to load the menu).
    -and.. that's all.
    -oh, and make sure to download the signed 5.03 as well.
